Behind The Seeds
Selected by breeder Irwin Goldman, this vibrant beet was bred to express the vegetable’s unsung sweetness without its polarizing earthiness. The end result? A golden beet that is stunning, mild and sweet.
"If you’re a beet skeptic, the Badger Flame is so mild and sweet that it will make you a believer. Raw or roasted, it's the most delicious beet I've tasted."
— Dan Barber, chef and Row 7 co-founder
