Have you ever wondered what would happen if a garlic and a leek made a baby? We did. The result of this love match, Sweet Garleek marries the sweetness of leeks with the mellow, savory notes of garlic.

Cooking
Slice Sweet Garleek stalks in half lengthwise and rinse under cold water. Slice stalks into ¼-inch pieces—greens included! Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a generous glug of olive oil and add sliced Sweet Garleek. Stir and sauté for 10 to 15 seconds. Add a heavy pinch of salt and a splash of water and cover with a lid. Keep cooking over medium-high heat for 30 to 45 seconds, and remove from heat.
Storage
Roll Sweet Garleek stalks in a dry paper towel and place in a plastic bag or storage container. Store in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator. Wash thoroughly before use.
